Guide for Wisconsin:

Mail-In Voting, Step by Step

Step 1: Requesting a Ballot

When it comes to getting an absentee ballot, you have options! Everyone is eligible to vote absentee – simply request your absentee ballot by 5pm the Thursday before Election Day.

Visit MyVote.wi.gov and follow the steps to request your Absentee Ballot.

Be sure to confirm your registration and mailing address.

Alternatively, you can contact your Municipal Clerk for more information.

Step 2: Completing Your Ballot

You’ll need a witness that is a US Citizen and over the age of 18. They should witness you completing your ballot but shouldn’t see who you’re actually voting for.

When done, fold your ballot & put it in the certificate envelope.

Complete the certification on the envelope. Your witness should complete their part of the certification, including their address.

Step 3: Submitting Your Ballot

Drop your ballot in the mail or return it to your municipal clerk. Your ballot must be received by 8pm on Election Day.

You did it! Your vote in the November 2020 Election has been safely cast. Nice work! 🙂
